It almost the Winter Vacation and the New Year . . .
Things to think about this winter break:
The winter vacation is a great opportunity to have some shared reading with picture books or your most-loved childhood stories. Also try to find time for your child to read books at his/her independent level. If you don't know your child's independent level, please ask your classroom teacher before the winter break arrives.
If possible, visit the library and check out some new genres with your child.
Making time for family reading is a great way to build a love for literacy and books!
